Found huddling in a dark corner with a broken back and infected wounds.

Diamond's world crashed when she was hit by a speeding vehicle leaving her paralysed with a broken back. We found her with deep drag wounds and urine burns looking very unwell. Diamond was painfully thin from her accident so we brought her to our healing centre where she got a good diet for a dog in her condition. 

One of her drag wounds became badly infected and burst exposing a massive hole. The vet stitched the gaping hole leaving a small aperture for cleaning. Diamond's recovery will take a long time. She will need a lot of physiotherapy to strengthen her muscles but happily, she is already showing signs of her back legs being responsive.

Despite the severity of her drag wounds, over a few months Diamond has made a remarkable recovery and formed a strong bond with her companion, Fufu. This vibrant young dog embraces her new wheelchair, enjoying daily runs. Though she longs for the freedom she once knew, Diamond's spirit remains unbroken.
